Great Openning New Site Alicea's Photo Gallery

Spanish Version

You are invited to the great opening of the new and re-designed Alicea’s Photo Gallery website.
Our third website generation is a whopping 8,000 images and 48 pages. For a brand-new launch, we’re in unprecedented territory. And while it’s taken a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get it here, the look, feel and digital image content of the website are exactly what we had originally intended.
Alicea’sPhotos.com was just a glimmer in her parents’ eyes at this time last year. It’s amazing how much it’s grown in a little under a year. At “El Encanto de mi Isla” exhibition in September, I couldn’t believe the response we were getting—people just loved the website! We had one of the busiest show room at the gallery, with people clamoring to get copies of our photography work and registering to have access to our site. I felt like a proud papa who couldn’t be happier about where Alicea’s Photo Gallery is headed.

The future is bright for all of us, with improvements already implemented to the website like;

  • accurate, robust and faster image search engine that allow you to find images by keywords, categories, resolution, color or B&W, orientation, license type and more,
  • More than 5,000 new images and monthly addition of 200 -500 photos
  • Light box capability from where you can share your selections with friend and clients
  • Friendly navigation and simple layout
  • Shopping cart
  • Real-time price calculator
  • Immediately download access to your purchased images
  • Fine Art Photography Store
  • Shareware Alicea’s screensavers
  • Digital photography Tips

Alicea’sPhotos.com is the first and only online stock photography agency in Puerto Rico with an image catalog that goes from nature to creative life style images with Puerto Rican talents. Subscribing is easy—just visits our site (www.Alicea’sPhotos.com), click on the appropriate link and browses our catalog.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback and support during these past years.

Photo Expo

Since August 24 until Octuber 13, 2007 Casa Escuté Gallery in Carolina Puerto Rico will exhibit "El Encanto de Mi Isla".
Photographic collection of recognized Puerto Rican photographer Salvador Alicea who brings a set to us of fine art photography in which he stands out the beauty of our flora and what we could call the Puerto Rican tipología. Both subjects are complemented like wanting to affirm to the subject, not like unconnected, rather, like integral part of the nature. There is a clear preoccupation by environmental and the urgency of its defense, before a modern world more and more alienated of that necessity. A world, that is far away of that necessary and essential symbiosis for the own human survival. This exhibition will be exhibited in the Main Room of the Escuté House as of Friday 24 of August until the 13 of October of 2007 and comprises of the Festival the International of the Jazz Latino 2007.
